However, not all shirts are created equal when it comes to sublimation printing. Choosing the right type of shirt is crucial to achieving the best results.

When it comes to sublimation printing, polyester t shirts are the best option. Polyester is a synthetic fabric that is known for its ability to hold vibrant colors and withstand the high heat required for sublimation printing. The reason polyester is the preferred choice for sublimation printing is because the sublimation ink bonds with the polyester fibers, resulting in a permanent and high-quality print.

In addition to polyester, polyester blends can also be used for sublimation printing. These blends typically consist of a combination of polyester and another fabric, such as cotton or spandex. While the polyester content should be at least 50% for optimal results, blends with a lower percentage of polyester can still produce satisfactory prints.
